Valentine's At Our House

I've always been a Valentine's hater. Ok, not always. It may be due to the fact that I never had a Valentine in High School, but now it's because I feel like a forced holiday to tell someone you love them is stupid. Don't get me wrong, I love Love.

Every year I tell Boyfriend I don't want anything for Valentine's Day and I mean it. It's not one of those I don't want anything for Valentine's Day you better get me something for Valentine's Day things.

I break my own rule every single year and get him a card and do something very small.

And then we do something as a couple family that weekend.

You might argue that an outing for Valentine's Day is the same as gifts and it's still forced and to that I'd say you may be absolutely right!

 But, I like the idea of experiences and memories better than gifts. None of us really want for anything so I'd rather do something together that I can take a ton of photos of. I love spending time with my family.
