"Don't Stop Believing, Unless Your Dream Is Stupid. Then You Should Get A Better Dream"

Happy Monday Friends! We had an awesomely fun Saturday and a lazy Sunday. For some reason I was exhausted all day so I just wasn't motivated to do anything - other than laundry, get my Etsy tax stuff together and play with the Bambinos, of course!

Saturday we were going to do our family thing for Valentine's Day and go to the Museum of Flight, but I took forever to get ready and by the time we were ready to go, it would have been closing in an hour and a half. So, we used one of the Bambinos' birthday presents: a gift certificate to the nearby Children's Museum.

It's the first time we've gone to a children's museum and it was awesome! I can't wait to go back.

The museum itself is fairly small, but it's packed with really cool stuff. They have a huge area specifically designed for kids 1-3 years old so we spent a lot of time in there.
Look at the huge train table! Do you see my bug way back there? It was a hit with both Bambinos.

Finally Peanut wanted to leave the enclosed area and explore other parts of the museum, he ran straight to the scarf shooter and then to this big light board. It's like a big Light Brite! Did anyone else have one of those as a kid?
The museum even had a real semi truck for the kids to climb into. Even I was intrigued to see what the inside of one looked like. The only bad thing was there were doors on both sides so I was afraid Peanut would run out the other one and I'd have to track him down.
Sadly, I didn't realize that the museum also closed an hour and a half after we got there, but I think we were there long enough to experience everything and know that it might be worth buying a a membership because it is pretty awesome.

We stayed until the very last minute so Bug could play in the truck - and because mostly everyone else had left he got to drive all alone!
Next time we go, I get to follow Bug around so I have more pictures of him. I started out with him originally, but then somehow I ended up with Peanut.

Something cute to leave you with - I posted this on twitter and possibly facebook already but I am in LOVE with this video and this kid. Can I take him home please? Stolen this from my friend Jessie...

How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun?

  7. Is this the one in Bellevue? We've never been there, but want to. Have you been to Imagine in Everett? I think it's the best one around here. We had a membership for a while. It's so much fun!
