Welcome To The Farm

This weekend was busy! I forget how busy we get sometimes.

Saturday, we went to Remlinger Farms in Carnation. Let me tell you, if you're going to Remlinger Farms, get a Groupon! I was shocked to find out that they charge for kids over 1 years old and it's $12 each! If I would have known, I would have bought two Groupons for entry. I'm sorry Remlinger, I know you have operating costs, but $12 for a child who cannot enjoy most of your activities is excessive. They should be half-price until 3 years old.
We enjoyed a teepee, and looking at the animals in the petting zoo, an old fire truck, a bus, a train ride and an old car ride. And then the Bambinos were hot and tired so we left.
Such a daddy's boy. It kind of makes me sad.
When we got home, I made an appointment for their first hair cut. I know I've made a big deal about it these last few weeks on twitter but it's a big deal to me. Taking away their "baby hair" will make them look so much more like little boys and not my little babies. I'm not sure if I'm quite ready for it but it needs to be done.

Sunday, we went to a friends house to watch the Seahawks game. They choked. But, this happened.
It's amazing! Thanks Pinterest!

I'm a firm believer that cream cheese can go in just a bout anything now. If you end up making it, eat it cold, it wasn't quite as good once it had been sitting out for a bit. But it was good again later after being put back in the fridge!
It's rare we get a family photo.

After we came back home from watching the loss, Boyfriend and I got ready to go to my good friend's 30th birthday. I hadn't seen her since the Bambinos were around two months old and she didn't know we were coming so it was a nice surprise.

We only stayed out until about 10:30 but since B gets up at 4:30 every morning, and since I ended up being up until midnight putting together yesterday's post, we were both dragging yesterday morning. We're too old to stay up that late!
How was your weekend?

I'd love your vote! We're #23

  2. Y'all look so cute in all those pictures. :) And I'm going to have to investigate that pinterest recipe! What an adorable treat for football season. Although my team went down in flames, too. So much for starting with a bang!

  3. I totally relate to the haircutting thing. My son had a ton of hair when he was born. He never lost any of it, so by the time he was 9 or 10 months old, his hair was SO long and almost in his eyes. I managed to hold off until a couple weeks before his 1st birthday. We found a really cute little kids salon in Seattle and it was a really good experience. He got to sit in a car and play with toys while the lady cut his hair. Since it was his first haircut, they also took his picture and gave it to us in a keepsake card with a lock of his hair. He looked SO cute after...and of course much older....but it really wasn't as hard for me as I thought it would be. Now he's almost 14 months old and it needs to be cut again. :)
