Our stations are very promotionally active so our staff spends a lot of time out at events promoting our station. They do things like run happy hour events, hand out bumper stickers, prizes and coupons for free food, promote the station, work concerts and do fun things that make people want to listen to our stations (in a nutshell.)
It's my job to manage our staff which includes scheduling them, connecting with clients to get all the details my staff needs to successfully pull off an event, add stuff to our website, put out any fires that might arise, pull airchecks (when the jock talks about a client on air, we pull a clip of it to send to the client - that's an aircheck,) create the weekly email blast that goes out to all of our subscribers, come up with promotional ideas, create website graphics, occasionally voice commercials, work concerts and many other things.
One thing I don't really handle is our contesting and everything that goes along with that - that's the job of the other person who is 2nd in command.
I like that my job is not the same every day. Some of the stuff I do every week is the same, but my position itself is not repetitive so I never get bored.
And there's perks. Britney Spears, Michael Jackson Cirque du Soliel, Skylar Grey, Ginuwine & Shai, Usher, Lady Gaga, Lupe Fiasco & B.o.B. (LOVE Lupe!), Ludacris & The Black Eyed Peas, Anjelah Johnson, Jay Z, En Vogue, Musiq Soulchild, Carlos Mencia, Kathy Griffin, Kanye West & Rihanna....for my music lovin' heart, this is a dream job.

Overall, my job is busy, fun, stressful, fun, never dull and fun. I love it.
