We're loooong overdue for the family pictures we're taking tomorrow. I intended to do them around 12 months and now they're 15 months old! I planned these ones out better than the last ones we took (which I never shared with you for some reason) and I'm actually kind of happy with our outfits. As always, the one outfit I'm not thrilled with is mine. That blue sweater is not the greatest representation, I couldn't find the exact sweater on Target's website so I photoshopped a similar one to make it closer in color. It's not super matchy matchy, but it's coordinating. Stacey London says, "It doesn't have to match, it just has to go." Hopefully it all works out the way it does in my head.
I've read that you should layer pieces to add more interest and of course none of us have layers. What I want to wear is the cardigan from this outfit
Yes, at 29 years old, I actually went out and bought an Abercrombie cardigan, but you know what? I love the way it fits. It's just too bad the stripes would clash too much with the plaid in the Bambinos' shirts. Plus, I've also read that red is not a good color for photos because it competes too much for your eye to go to the red item rather than people's faces.
Now, I'm debating about if I should pull part of my hair up or leave it down. I'm in one of those weird in between stages with my bangs so I don't really want to leave it down, but I'm afraid I'll hate the pics if they're pulled up.
Any tips for good family photos for me?
