When I was contacted by Misikko for a review of their Hana Air Pro Hair Dryer, I wasn't even in the market for a new hair dryer. I had toyed around with the idea of getting an ion one but figured the one I had worked for it's purpose. But would I say "No," to a free hair dryer that is supposedly the world's best hair dryer?
About two years ago, I heard about Misikko when they were giving bloggers a chance to give away flat irons. I knew they also sold Chi flat irons, but I was curious about the Hana ones. I bought a Hana Flat Iron off ebay and am very happy with it. I figured I'd at least be happy with the hair dryer.
Boy was I wrong.
I squealed with delight when my package arrived, and the first thing I noticed was how many extras they sent me with my hair dryer.
There were literally layers of goodies in my box! Hand sanitizer, nail files, bath salts, Paul Mitchell shampoo & conditioner (full sized too, not just a sample,)
A little monkey suffed animal, a sleep mask, eyelash curler.....this box was packed full of goodies. Misikko knows how to make a girl feel like a VIP.
I excitedly used the new hair dryer the next time I washed my hair and.....
I wasn't convinced. After using my cheap Conair for so long, it was hard for me to get used to the Hana. I had to hold it differently or else I'd push the button for cold air. I noticed the Hana had more power but I wasn't sure if it was actually faster than my Conair. But wait.....
I switched back and forth between the Hana and the Conair for a few weeks before finally noticing that it seems like the Hana was making my post-pregnancy baby hairs a little more tame. Anything that kept my hair from standing straight up was a Godsend.
I kept with it and now? I more than like the dryer, I love it. I use nothing but my Hana. It really shoots out the air so I've probably cut my drying time in half. If you read Monday's post, you know I love products to help me cut time out of anything. I've noticed a big difference in the softness of my hair and for someone who washes, dries and flat irons her hair every day, this is huge. I use the diffuser attachment with the dryer on the highest heat setting and know that I will never be able to use just any old cheap hair dryer again. I'm convinced that the issues I had in the beginning were just user error and I gave my Conair to my sister over the weekend.
I am so happy with my experience with the Hana Hair Dryer and Misikko that I'd consider getting a curling iron from them because I am in the market for one of those.
What about you? What are your can't-live-without hair products or tools?
Don't forget! Tomorrow is the last day to purchase from my Scentsy party.
