Teeny Tiny tree

This is our tree this year. I've always had a full-sized tree. Growing up, my parents had a fake tree, but it was always full-sized. I'm very traditional in the sense that I love Christmas, and my memories of the holidays. I like things to be just so concerning our traditions and if you would have asked me two years ago if I would ever have anything less than a full sized tree, I would have scoffed at you.

Pssssh, no way!

But, our house is small and now we have no room. The longer B and I have been together (3 years ago today!) I realize we've done things anything but the traditional way.

And I like it. I like that we do things our way. On our time. I like that we take things and make it our own. It works for us. And that's what matters.

Will we have a full-sized tree someday? Absolutely. But, for now our small tree is better than the alternative: no tree at all.

Now that's just a tragedy.

  1. I think it's a beautiful little tree!!!!

    HAPPY THREE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!!

My mom doesn't put a tree up. The last time she did was in 2004 because I begged her to. It was Ariel's first Christmas and I was not going to let her go without a tree.
