Seriously Thursday

It's Seriously Thursday with From Mrs. to Mama

Seriously, this is the pile of coupons on my floor. I'm trying this whole coupon thing ya'll. I need to get the rest of them cut out and organized before the Bambinos wake up.

Seriously, I don't know hoe people get super cheap diapers. I can't figure it out and then couponing makes me feel stupid. We got $4 off which is better than nothing, I guess.

Seriously, my boss called me the other day while I was pumping. And she knew I was pumping. I'm pretty open (IRL, not on the blog) but I don't want to be talking to someone on the phone while my boobs are getting squeezed.

Seriously, I have a little anxiety about planning the Bambinos' first birthday. Invite a lot of people? Or just a few? Where will we have it? How will I make enough food for everyone? I need to start the decorations, etc., etc., They won't remember but it needs to be perfect.

What made you go seriously? this week

  1. YEA...talking to a co-worker while pumping is akward on many crazy your boss would call knowing that was going on:/

I stressed about the first birthday too..but found that crock pot foods (like bbq, or mac n cheese, or beans, etc) make it easier and feed alot of people!

Hope you're having a wonderfil week!

  2. I think you should do a winter wonderland theme birthday party! Snowflakes everywhere.... EVERYWHERE!!!!

I wish I was there to help you plan!!!!!

  3. Seriously...YOU!!!! You amaze me. I don't know how you find time to do half the stuff you do...with twins!!! AND those twins. ;0

I know you will rock their 1st bday. You gotta invite EVERYONE and their momma this year and then after that...friends!!!! I can't wait to see what you do....

  4. I would love to figure the whole couponing thing out. I start & then become overwhelmed.

  5. Awwww . . . crazy that they're gonna be one year old! I would have anxiety around planning a party too. But if you want any suggestions, you should definitely talk to my friend Lesley (we've been friends our whole entire lives!). She's got that ridiculously amazing party planning gene, and her daughter's parties thus far have been impressive to say the least (her daughter, Matilda, is 3). Lesley's blog is and her email is I'm sure she'd be happy to direct you to sites & stuff with great supplies, ideas, etc. :)

  6. Good luck with the couponing!! Let me know if you figure out any tricks....I just can't get it!!!

  7. oh my goodness.... i just saw your pictures from halloween and those two are just breathtaking!!! i want to squeeze then!

  8. I say plan what you want!! Hahah! Then just go with it so it's easy :)

  9. I was the same way when my son turned 1. But I decided a small get together with family- and next when he turns 2, we'll go all out!

  10. Fellow twin mom here. I started couponing the minute I found out I was having twins. I think getting mega savings on food is tricky but personal hygiene stuff has saved me 100s. I have not paid for bodywash, razors, deoderants, dishsoap, toothpaste, or toothbrushes since I started. I never pay more than 2 dollars for laundry detergent including the all free and clear I use for the babies' stuff. As for diapers- I love Join their mom club and combine that savings with the subscribe and save. Or usually get them for really cheap at the drug stores with coupons and extracare bucks. If you really want to start couponing I recommend I think she does safeway. I live in the South so no safeway but I use the blog. They do all the matchups for you and tell you which coupons to use. Good luck with the party and once again the boys are just too darn cute!!

I'd love to hear what you have to say, I always ALWAYS write back so please make sure you have an email attached to your profile :)
