Mama Says: Then There Were Three

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Good I hope! Today's Mama Says Mama is Danielle from Then There Were Three. She has an adorable little girl with an adorable name:) She's talking about how much your life changes once little ones come along. Take it away Danielle!

I love guest posting! Why? Because I love to meet new mamas & share in on their roller coaster experience because we all know that being a mom is one hell of a ride! I go! I'll try not to bore you too much.

I'm Danielle and I'm 24 years old. I'm married to Jeremy going on 2 years. Hello, anniversary, I would like a new pair of diamond earrings, k? thanks. We have a beautiful little girl (maybe I'm biased?), Rylee, and she was born on 10.07.10 - 3 weeks before my due date. Before I became a SAHM I worked for Coca-Cola Enterprises for 3 years. While I had a love/hate relationship with my job I'm thankful for it & am so glad I was able to get that experience. Thank god that's over with.  Being a mom has been the most important job I will ever have in my life. Although there are days I want to scream at the top of my lungs & pull my hair out I love it.
Showing you her 2 teeth!
My life has dramatically changed since having our little babe. Before we had here we did whatever the hell we wanted. A normal day in the life of us would have been going to work until 6, going to class until 8, cooking & eating dinner around 9- unless we went out (which we normally did.) On the weekends we always were out with friends having dinner, a few drinks & going out dancing. Staying out until 2-3am and repeat. Loved my life.
Now? Well, things are quite different, but I love it!  Rylee is such an early bird (totally didn't get that from me.) So we are normally awake by 6-7am. We play & eat breakfast until around 9am and then it's time for her nap. She'll nap anywhere from 45 minutes - 1.5 hours & then it's time to eat & play all over again. Dinner is at 6pm- bath at 6:45- nursing time & then bed at 8pm. And we do this everyday unless there is an occasional play date.
We don't go out with friends as much or if we do it's normally the friends that have babies. We haven't been to a club or out drinking since NYE '10. If we go out, we take her. I always say "I didn't have a baby so other people could watch her". If Rylee can't go then we more than likely won't be showing our faces. I try my hardest to take time for Jeremy & I, but it's hard. No one said having a baby would be easy, right? Luckily once Rylee goes to bed we will snuggle on the couch & watch a little tv until one of us falls asleep. Well, that's it folks. That's me in a very small nutshell.
