Current Obsession: Shutterfly

I found Shutterfly a long time ago, but I didn't start using it until recently. And now I am ob-sessed. It all started when I found a Groupon for a photobook for only $10. Score! I made one for my mom for Christmas. Then, when the Bambinos were born, I kept getting $20 Shutterfly gift cards from the company that did their photos in the hospital. Those, in addition to Shutterfly's special offer emails, caused me to order over 500 prints and make another photo book, this one about the day the Bambinos were born.
Photobooks are so easy!
Oh, and did I mention I made more birth announcements when we ran out of the ones the photo people at the hospital did?

I also have one of Shutterfly's share sites where you can invite people to view a site you create (it's kind of like photobucket but better.) Although I made the site only so I could get 30 free prints, I have come to love it because anytime my dad takes photos of the Bambinos, he uploads them to the site and I have instant access to them.
Making a share site kind of reminded me of myspace, you can choose a design and everything.
The thing I love about Shutterfly's prints is that you can choose what you want on the back of each photo so I put the date and the name of each child in the photo. I can totally tell the Bambinos apart, but it's still kind of nice to know. I think you can even put a short description. Someday, I will actually put the 500 photos I printed in the baby books I'm going to make.

Do you use a photo service? Which one do you use?

*Shutterfly did not pay me/bribe me to write this post in any way.

  1. I use both Shutterfly and Snapfish. I mostly use Snapfish, but I do like to take advantage of the many deals that Shutterfly sends out! It really is a great way to keep photos organized, create books, and have friends and family members keep in touch through photos!

  2. I've never used Snapfish, I should check that one out too.

  3. Oh my goodness, that announcement is precious! They are so cute snuggled up together.

(I've used Shutterfly and Snapfish, too--both great).

I'd love to hear what you have to say, I always ALWAYS write back so please make sure you have an email attached to your profile :)
