Portland...Again

Hi Peeps! I promise not to leave you for a week at a time again...okay, I probably will so I'm not making any promises, but I swear I had a good reason. My week has been busy with unpacking, organizing, working, and all that all too thrilling stuff.

Last Saturday my step-mom, sister and I drove to a small town South of Portland for my cousin's bridal shower.
My design won- my sister's the one in the middle. My cousin (in the other finished dress) had to decide which one she might actually wear. Toward the end, my sister and I realized she should have stood with her feet apart because she couldn't actually walk.

Friday B drove me and my sister back down to Portland for my cousin's wedding Saturday....but first he decided to tear down a wall in the kitchen to make a hallway.

About an hour before my mom was coming to stay so she could take care of Teddy, boyfriend hit a water pipe and water spewed everywhere. He had to run to the hardware store real quick and ended up getting something to fix the pipe. Thanks goodness my mom had water to flush the toilet and take a shower this weekend!

The wedding was great. My dad convinced my Grandma to come so all 5 of her grandkids were in the same place at the same time.
My Grandma's the one with the cane. It's obviously hard to get all the grandkids and great-grandkids to look at the camera all at the same time.

Me & B at the Reception

The reception was at a barn a bit away from the wedding. It was super laid-back and low key, just like my cousin. We only stayed for a few hours but what we stayed for was fun. One of my cousin's brother-in-laws, or her father-in-law makes their own smoked meat so they had pulled pork, ham and chicken - it was so good!

Sunday morning B and I decided to stop by Nike Town in Portland. We were both unimpressed. We thought the Nike hometown would have more to offer but it honestly wasn't that different from the Seattle store.

We also stopped by the Nike, Coach and Gymboree outlets in Centralia. Nike had nothing to offer and neither did Gymboree but I got a cute clutch at Coach for only $30!

And P.S. I think it's really funny how excited I get about Gymboree now. A year ago, buying kids clothes was nowhere close to being on my radar, but I've actually been planning on stopping at the outlet since last weekend when we drove by it on the way home.
